KLM want flyers to giggle, jiggle with ecards

If you are one of the many who think that KLM is just a domestic Dutch airline, then think again. KLM fly to some far flung and exotic destinations, and some of these are highlighted in their latest venture, the fun and ingenious giggle, jiggle e-cards. Intended for any use, these great e-cards can be used as a postcard, birthday card or for any fun occasion that you would send a greetings card.

The brilliant design aspect is courtesy of the London based agency ‘3 fish in a tree’, who have said that they were delighted to have been approached by KLM and it was a real honour and privilege to be part of developing such a unique and innovative product. The backdrops for the e-cards are America, Africa, The Netherlands and China. The little dancing, jiggling figure becomes you when you upload a picture to become the face.

You can be a line-dancing cowboy in Texas, a traveller on an African safari, a kung fu master going through your impressive moves in China, and a cute little Dutch girl doing a clog dance in Holland. They take literally a couple of minutes to create on the website, don’t cost a penny and you can send them to one person, or a dozen people. In fact, anyone with an email address can receive a giggle, jiggle e-card.

Seeing you virtually cartwheeling beside a bemused Elephant or fancying yourself as Bruce Lee will bring a smile to everyone’s face. This is the way forward for greeting cards in the future, and if they’re all as fun as this the future is very bright.
