Amnesia Ibiza

Amnesia is widely disputed to be one of the most popular nightclubs in Ibiza after the world famous Privilege.  In fact, in 2007 it was given the Best Global Club Award.

The popular trendsetting nightclub is found near the town of San Rafael between Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni de Portmany.  It is approximately one kilometer form Privilege making the area that surrounds it one of the most happening locations on the island.

5,000 people can fit into the lively nightclub dance floors on any given night.  In the past if was one of the first nightclubs to offer outdoor dancing but the open air terrace is now closed although light from outside still shines through as dawn breaks at the end of a night out on the town.

The most successful night to be at Amnesia is during the Manumission club night which it stole from Privilege in August of 2007.  The other night that Amnesia provides top notch excitement is Cream which is one of the longest UK themed nights still in existence on the island.

One of the reasons that Amnesia is so widely known is due to its advanced sound system which can blow away most night clubs across the world.  Here the frequencies of music are actually analyzed so that the ones that are played cause the body to enjoy the same sensations of a massage.

It may be for this reason and its extreme popularity that Amnesia is a favorite among many celebs including Naomi Campbell, Elle McPherson, Valentino Rossi, and Bono.

Of course, the fact that the lights are breathtaking and mesmerizing may also be a reason with 24 lasers that shoot across the club that are controlled by a robot set to make for an unimaginable festival of light, sound, and raucous fun.
