Ibiza Island

Ibiza Island is a famous clubbing island located in the Mediterranean Sea about 80km from the City Valencia on the coast of the Iberian Peninsula.

It is visited most by tourists during the summer as this is when the club scene rages throughout most of the day and night with many nightclubs such as the prominent Privilege dance club, which is the largest club in the world.

In recent years officials of Ibiza Island are trying to promote a more family friendly image although the predominant tourism sector is still Ibiza IslandEuropean holiday goers who are seeking a good time.

The climate of Ibiza Island is temperate with mild weather in the winter that average about 15 degrees Celsius during the day, and summer temps of about 30 degrees Celsius.

Some of the most popular tourist sites on the Ibiza Island are the Playa d’en Bossa beach, Es Canar beach, Sant Antoni de Portmany, and the CAla de sa Galera.

It is these sites that make the beautiful coastal island of Ibiza an official UN World Heritage Site which protects its non-commercialized nature.

This is not to say that area does not have a rampant commercialized nightlife, because as mentioned, the nightlife is the draw and charm for most holiday planners.

The riotous and rampant nightlife is centralized mostly in Ibiza Town and along the Sant Antonio shore.

The most popular and renowned nightclubs on Ibiza are the above mentioned Privilege, Es Paradis, Eden, Space, DC10, Pacha, and Amnesia.

Throughout the summer months famous and notable DJs travel into the Ibiza Island to spin their beats that include electronic, techno, trance, and house music. It is due to this fact that the musical club trends often originate from Ibiza.

The typical season for clubbing on the island extends from June through October.
